Science insults

This article gives a guide to insulting scientists. At the top of the list:

  1. Mostly publishes in specialized journals
  2. Moderate productivity
  3. Papers are mostly descriptive
  4. Trainees are not attaining academic positions
  5. Overly ambitious

Yep, pretty much spot on.

  3. Well, regarding the journals, at least in Economics the “generalistic” ones often publish a lot of no sense or trivialities that are just adorned with some math.
