I’m travelling all week, and normally I’d warn that the blogging will be slow, but this time I hope for the opposite.
The LSE is hosting two outstanding academic development conferences: Growth Week and the BREAD conference. See the links for topics, people, and (in BREAD’s case) papers.
I can’t speak for Internet access at LSE, and my computer battery is a disaster (new laptop on the way!) but I hope to overcome technological travails and write about some of the most interesting new research.

Not to mention the studenty area all around LSE is littered with small cafes and eateries with free wifi access.
LSE has near blanket wifi, so if you have an Eduroam account, you’ll be fine. You’ll need to ask Yale about whether or not they’re an Eduroam member though.
Failing that, there’s pay-as-you-go 3G-UMTS.
