Yes, I loathe and detest Microsoft Word too!
If Bill Gates REALLY wanted to do something charitable for the world, he’d give MW a makeover.
I use Adobe Framemaker — Once you have learnt it, it’s a dream of stability and flexibility.
Question: does Writer from OpenOffice.org suffer the same formatting flaws? My bet is on a big fat NO (though I’m late to the OpenOffice game and have not used it seriously)
