The dense mass in the middle is the ‘core’ of the blogosphere, which is about 1,000 popular blogs related to politics, technology, and general news. Smaller communities live outside the core and link into it.

Look at the bottom, at the tiny little white thingy just outside the circle. That, I believe, is probably me. And the giant ball of white fire in the middle? Tragically, it is pictures of cats.
