    -“Peasants and Poverty: A Study of Haiti “ by Swedish economist Mats Lundahl, on the interplay between population growth, agriculture and poverty in Haiti.
    -“Haïti-République Dominicaine : Une île pour deux” by haitian geographer Jean-Marie Théodat, on the divergent paths of the 2 countries sharing the island of Hispaniola.
