IRC’s Research, Evaluation and Learning Unit aims to improve humanitarian aid and development through rigorous research and evaluation, using multiple methods from a wide range of disciplines. The Unit seeks a full-time research advisor to conduct and support research and evaluation related to economic recovery and development with a particular focus on women and youth. The job requires a mix of operational and research skills, a strong knowledge of economic issues in areas affected by armed conflict. The Research Advisor would report to the Director of Research and Evaluation and work with field teams across multiple countries. The position will be based in NYC and start in September 2012.
