I’m advertising for a 10-month project coordinator on the IPA website:
Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of a Project Associate or Project Coordinator in Northern Uganda. The position will assist in implementing the end line for an impact assessment of a large scale vocational training intervention for youth in a post-conflict resettlement context.
See the ad for qualifications and application instructions (don’t e-mail me directly or it won’t get in the system). Prior experience in the field, especially with stats and surveys, is a very strong plus.
Read about the project here.
We’re likely to expand evaluation operations in the north–from road-building to school construction to conditional cash transfers–and so I’m hoping the position will be a two-year posting. Applicants who are available for the extended period are strongly preferred.

I’m a UK based construction project manager. I have a home in Uganda, Masindi, and have just finished a construction project in UAE. I would like to work in Uganda – any advice?
