Goggles that google, among other things.
My first thought: Cool, but I expected more.
Second thought: The streets of Manhattan are dangerous enough already. We’re going to give drivers and pedestrians more electronic things to look at while they walk/drive?
I highly recommend watching Charlie Brooker’s “Black Mirror” series – the above video reminds me of the episode “The Entire History of You” – which pretty much lays out why this kind of tech is going to make us really insufferable.

I think it’s absolutely amazing, especially when you consider that it’s just going to be first-generation augmented reality, wearable computers (the next ten years should have some pretty impressive developments on this). It’s better than what I thought it would be.
I have no need or desire to share that kind of detail with others, or to google things on the fly like that. So I don’t see the point.
But I DO think helmet cameras and pov video are cool, so it was neat to see people doing cool stuff with them that I had never seen before (the horse jumping was awesome).
Third, you have to talk to them out loud. I see tons of potentially embarassing siutations
My thought: Nice! But what this video shows is how our lives can be pretty awesome with some amazing moments instead of an “amazing tech”
