Chris Blattman linking to reddit posts… does this mean we’re going to soon see a rise in quality comments in /r/AskSocialScience? (Also highly recommended for the uninitiated: /r/AskHistorians, /r/mapporn, and /r/dataisbeautiful).
I’m guessing that ad was meant for the right side of the escalator. I wonder if there’s a matching ad on the other side with another plane crashing… In that case, I blame the sign installers.
… But still very funny
It’s not a great placement. I found this ad at a travel agency in Sweden in 2003 during the height of SARS in Hong Kong. Not the best timing.
