people who work on youth issues have tried in the last few years to get away from this tired-ass “time-bomb” analogy. it’s not very helpful to frame kids as a *problem* to be confronted, especially when you’re trying to do positive youth-led development work. we’ve got to get governments instead to see their youthful populations as an opportunity to be harnessed.
