I’ve been alerted to the Working World blog–a great resource if you are looking for advice on jobs abroad.

I have the same problem. As Cristina.
I’ve been reading your blog but didn’t find any advice for developing country professionals (e.g. Filipino, Vietnamese etc) who have international degrees and have international organizations in their home countries but want an International position (like P-level for UN) and not as a local support staff. Is it really impossible to have a global development job at home under an “international” category? This is easy of course if you are British in London or American in DC where dozens of international dev jobs are around even for backstopping work and there is no distinction between local or international hire. Thanks!
thank you
I am seeking work in development to benefit my further education, future career, and the peoples living within the communities I may aid.
