Auspicious beginnings

The new AEJ Applied Journal is absurdly good. It reflects everything I like about economics. Perhaps one would expect this from an inaugural issue of a high-profile publication. I hope they keep it up, and suspect they will.

It’s a shame they don’t make the first issue open to the public, though. Titles and abstracts here. (I suspect most authors have a working paper on their website if you like the paper.)

    And yes, that’s blatant South Africa promotion. Couldn’t help myself.
