FP ranks nations by gender equality and region. The list of the worst: Haiti, Yemen, Sierra Leone, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, and Moldova.
They forgot one place: the Fortune 500. That group includes just 12 female CEOs, or about 2 percent. Of course, that number is improving, going up by one female CEO each year for the past few years. So we should hit the 50 percent mark by 2246.
Update: You probably don’t want to be an Indian air hostess either

What are you thinking? Using the same logic, the USA should be on the list too, since there never has been a woman president or vice president. So women in the USA are as bad off as the women in Haiti? I am sure that in some cases women are OK with being senior vice president of something or other at a fortune 500 company. And they might even be somewhat better off than the women in Moldava.
Actually, wouldn’t women in the US be worse off than women in Haiti, since Haiti has had a woman as president.
