I do not think so you know Turkey well.. Turkey is not more Islamic. It is becoming more Anglo-Saxon secular country.(It was French type oppressive jacobenist secularist)Turkish People wew Muslims in the past, not now. Becaue of the change in the politics and it is becoming more secular country, religious freedom showed the muslim life of Turkish People. They are also Muslims now but never extremist, fundementalist, or moderate or any other thing...they are just simple muslims based on humanity... The costs & benefits of that evolution cannot be made apparent using an experiment, but they will surely surface over the long haul.<br/><br/>When they do, and if the costs overwhelm the benefits, the former will be borne by the locals (i.e., see Iran) and not by outside interests that are very supportive right now.
